Wow I haven't posted in a loooooooong time..... I swear I will post more often! I PROMISE!!!
Ok the Being Human finale was AMAZING!!! I am not going to tell you any of the details. You have to watch it yourself otherwise I'll ruin everything.
I drew Annie, George, and Mitchell for my art class. All three can be viewed on deviantArt: http://www.mikamoo2u2.deviantart.com/

Anyways, I got this mini catalogue in the mail displaying all the creepy, crazy costumes available at some party store. Wow. Here are some that I saw that made my eyes burn.
Sexy Freddy Krueger. AUGH MY EYES!!!!
There are some really sensible people out there. None of which created this idea for a boy's costume.
Now I ain't sayin she a gold digger.
Lil' Pimp's mom.
Oh yeah. Thats REALLY sexy.
There are TRILLIONS of terrible costumes..... Go forth and find one more awful then the ones I have selected. I DARE YA

teaser's terrify

One of the most important things (or the most important thing) for a movie is the trailer. Trailer's make the viewer decide instantly whether they will see the movie or not. It is supposed to give you a glimpse into the movie's purpose and style, but not give away way too much. Here are some examples of BAD movie trailers:
1. The Backup Plan -- You can see the entire plot just from the trailer.
2. Alpha and Omega -- Ditto.
3. Millions of other movies
Here are some examples of GOOD movie trailers:
1. Cloverfield -- Mysterious, engaging, terrifying.
2. Catfish -- Tells you absolutely nothing, but you want to know everything.
3. Where the Wild Things Are -- Used music very well and only gave a glimpse into artistic look of the film.
So what inspired me to write this blog entry? The trailer for Catfish. I can't stop thinking about it.
Gotta check it out chick-a-dees. ;)

homemade masterpiece

Hey y'all. ;)
So when I was watching Being Human a couple weeks ago, a commercial came on for a video tribute contest for the show. I told my bff at once about the contest and we squealed in excitement.
So we thought about possible scenes to re-enact. We have a friend that looks EXACTLY like George but he was busy. So we decided to choose a scene with Annie because I kinda look like her. ;)
And then I thought my bff looks a lot like Amy Pond from Doctor Who so we added her in there too. ;)
If you watch Doctor Who and Being Human you'll think our video is pretty hilarious. And it is.
Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNNRZL2KWcw
Enjoy our masterpiece! ;)

push the envelope wild child

Futuristic. Psychedelic. Magic.
From Denmark to America, the music of Asteroids Galaxy Tour makes people want to dance, be merry, and go crazy. Not only have their songs been featured on numerous commercials around the world, including an iPod Touch ad, they have been played on the TV show Gossip Girl and in the movie The September Issue.
Now that's enough about their growing popularity. The music and style is the real reason why I decided to blog about them.
Their music is truely unique. The band mixes 60's with electronic with alternative and less we forget pop.
Their style is truely unique. I call it, vintage-hipster chic. But definately with a lovely futuristic twist.
You've just gotta check em out: http://www.myspace.com/theasteroidsgalaxytour
